Introduction to the performance of the special adhesive used for bonding the sealing gasket of subway shield tunnel segments. The special adhesive for bonding the sealing gasket of shield tunnel segments is the adhesive developed and researched by our company for bonding the cement sheath and EPDM sealing strip in shield tunnel construction. It has the characteristics of strong adhesion, easy painting, easy construction, and good waterproof performance! This adhesive is a resin based environmentally friendly adhesive used for bonding between rubber (including natural rubber, nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, ternary propylene rubber, etc.), metal, and plastic.
The appearance is a transparent flowing liquid, single component, moisture absorbing and curing at room temperature. The initial positioning time is generally 5-10 minutes, and the complete curing time of the product is generally 24-48 hours (at room temperature of 25 ℃).
Compared with traditional 502 instant glue, this product has a slightly longer positioning time and is very suitable for larger area gluing and construction. After the product is fully cured, it not only has strong adhesion, but also does not turn white and exhibits a certain degree of toughness, with good anti vibration and buffering effects.
Cold connection method for waterstop:
1. Docking method: The two sections that need to be docked should be straight. After docking, apply glue in sections, about 1-2 centimeters, and then use a screwdriver to squeeze the waterstop with both hands for one minute to stick it firmly. Then proceed to the next section.
2. Overlapping method: Use a polishing machine to smooth the surface of the waterstop strip to 5-10 centimeters, apply glue and compact it.
